Implementasi Teknologi Informasi Dalam Meningkatkan Efisiensi Administrasi di MA Miftahul Ulum Mukomuko

This study aims to describe the implementation process of information technology in improving administrative efficiency at MA Miftahul Ulum Mukomuko and to identify the supporting factors behind its success. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data sources were gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the school principal, administrative staff, and teachers as primary informants. The data analysis technique was carried out through data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions, while data validity was ensured using method triangulation. The results show that the implementation of information technology at MA Miftahul Ulum Mukomuko has been executed effectively, particularly through the application of an IT-based midterm/interim report card system (raport bayangan). This system succeeded in enhancing administrative efficiency, accelerating the grade processing time, minimizing data entry errors, and improving the transparency of academic information. The success of this implementation is supported by adequate technology infrastructure, competent human resources, and strong managerial support from the school administration. Thus, the implementation of information technology in school administration at MA Miftahul Ulum Mukomuko can be categorized as a best practice with the potential to be replicated in other schools.

Predicting University Student Academic Achievement Using the C4.5 Decision Tree Based on Socioeconomic Factors

Student academic achievement is an important indicator in assessing the success of higher education; however, it is often influenced by external factors such as socio-economic background, including parents’ occupation and income. Differences in these conditions can lead to disparities in academic performance if not properly identified. This study aims to identify student academic achievement based on socio-economic background using a data mining approach with the C4.5 algorithm. The research process includes data collection through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, followed by data preprocessing, attribute selection, and classification model development using the Orange application on 510 student records with variables such as gender, Grade Point Average (GPA), parents’ occupation, and parents’ income. The results indicate that the C4.5 algorithm is capable of generating a decision tree model that identifies patterns between socio-economic factors and academic achievement, with GPA as the most dominant attribute. This model can be utilized as a basis for academic policy-making, such as providing educational assistance and academic support programs, and may also serve as a reference for future research to achieve more accurate and comprehensive analyses.

Development and Evaluation of a QR Code-Based Student Attendance Information System for Improving School Attendance Management Efficiency

The development of digital technology in education has encouraged the implementation of modern information systems, one of which is a Quick Response Code-based attendance system. This study aims to design and develop a student attendance information system that uses Quick Response Code cards, connected to a mobile web application, to assist teachers in recording attendance at SMP Negeri 3 Gadingrejo. The method used in the development is a waterfall approach with the steps of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This system makes it easy for students to record attendance by scanning the prepared Quick Response Code, so that attendance data is immediately recorded automatically and in real time into the system. The results of the blackbox test method showed that all features functioned well without any problems. In addition, trials with teachers and students showed a high level of satisfaction with the ease and efficiency of the system. It is hoped that this system can replace the manual method that is still used, improve the accuracy of attendance recording, and support the digital transformation of school administration.

Digital Learning Strategic Management: Pengembangan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Digital untuk Meningkatkan Kompetensi Lulusan SMA Plus Al Hamidy

Digital transformation in secondary education requires an approach that goes beyond technology adoption by integrating strategic planning, digital readiness, learning implementation, data-driven evaluation, and graduate competencies. This study aims to develop and evaluate the Digital Learning Strategic Management (DLSM) model as an integrated framework for managing digital learning at SMA Plus Al Hamidy. A Research and Development (R&D) approach was employed through analysis, design, development and validation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The study involved 52 students, nine teachers, one principal, and one student affairs administrator. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, model validation, N-Gain analysis, pre-test–post-test comparison, and inter-variable relationship testing. The results showed that DLSM implementation reached 81.13%, while model feasibility achieved 89.40%. Students’ competency scores increased from 66.47 to 84.63, with an N-Gain of 0.54 and a statistically significant pre-test–post-test difference (p < 0.001). Strategic planning, digital readiness, digital learning implementation, and data-driven evaluation were positively associated with graduate competencies, with digital learning implementation demonstrating the strongest relationship (β = 0.361). Graduate competencies were also positively associated with continuous strategic improvement (β = 0.428). The novelty of DLSM lies in integrating strategic planning–digital readiness–digital learning implementation–data-driven evaluation–graduate competencies–continuous improvement into a continuous digital learning management cycle. The proposed model provides a practical framework for secondary schools to manage digital transformation systematically while maintaining a measurable focus on developing graduate competencies.

Analisis Pengaruh Penggunaan ChatGPT dan Gemini Terhadap Hasil Belajar Mahasiswa di Kampus Institut Bakti Nusanatara

This study aims to analyze the influence of generative AI ChatGPT and Gemini on student learning outcomes in the Research Methodology course at the Bakti Nusantara Institute. By applying quantitative methods and involving 32 students as samples, statistical analysis was conducted to assess its influence. The research findings showed a strong positive correlation (r=0.672) and an R² regression value of 0.452, which means that the application of generative AI explains 45.2% of the variation in learning outcomes. Descriptively, many students found it easier to complete their assignments with the help of AI. These results confirm that ChatGPT and Gemini are important factors that have a positive impact on student academic performance. Thus, carefully integrating AI into the learning plan can help improve learning outcomes in the future.
